Welcome to the website of the Drummond and Smith Law Society.
This Society was formally launched on the 21st August 2008 in the Hon. R. F. Smart Law Library at Drummond and Smith College by the Interim Committee.
The focus for the 2009 Committee is to ensure that the activities of the Law Society are relevant to the demands of the law students of the College.
It is also my hope to run a large range of events, such as seminars, workshops and social functions, including an annual Drummond and Smith Law Society Ball for the law students and greater law community of Drummond and Smith College throughout the remainder of the year.
I am also excited to announce the guest speaker at the upcoming Law Ball is the Hon. Michael Kirby AC CMG.

Elections for the 2010 Executive Committee took place in the final weeks of Term 4 and the elected positions are as follows:
President - Daniel Hill
Vice President - Jacquie Cope-Williams
Secretary - Natasha Schumacher
Treasurer - Natasha Alchin
Elections for the remainder of the committee including Social, Funding and Marketing and First Year Representatives will take place in 2010.
