MISSION STATEMENT:
The Drummond and Smith Law Society is an organisation which aims to advance and represent the vocational, academic and social interests of the law students at Drummond and Smith College, University of New England.
ABOUT US:
This newly established law society commenced in August 2008 with the intention to achieve certain objectives which were concurrent with our Mission Statement. Some of these objectives are outlined below.
- To provide a Society of academic support for its members through a network of current law students, alumni, college Fellows, law lecturers and law firms.
- To provide funding for the additional Law Reports and for the general up keep of the Hon. R. F. Smart Law Library.
- To act as a formal body to hold seminars and workshops for law students at Drummond and Smith College, University of New England.
- To promote information on legal subjects....with members of the Society.
- To represent the views and wishes of the law students of Drummond and Smith College.
